She&#8217;s said in interviews that she&#8217;s influenced by artists like The Weekend, and you can definitely hear those tones in her music in the way that she delivers her words. <br/><br/>While yes, every track on the record could be the supporting track for a Gossip Girl montage, Born To Die has some really great stuff in it if you&#8217;re looking for something more laid back. I&#8217;m particularly fond of Radio, Carmen, and Million Dollar Man. It&#8217;s the kind of record I&#8217;d listen to while drinking a few session beers, browsing whatever random articles the Internet throws at me. It leaves me, a grown ass man, sitting on my cousins couch alone on a Sunday night watching fuckin’ Masterpiece Classic on PBS, eating a cookie ice cream sandwich and quietly sobbing like a little bitch.
